History & haunting lore

The Kehoe House is a Queen Anne mansion built in 1892 for ironworker William Kehoe on Columbia Square in Savannah's historic district. After serving as a funeral home in the mid-twentieth century, the building was converted into a boutique inn. It is consistently listed among Savannah's most haunted locations.

Guests report children's laughter and running footsteps on the upper floors, particularly in rooms 201 and 203. Some describe waking to find a figure at the foot of the bed or feeling the mattress depress as if someone sat down. Staff note the scent of roses in the hallway with no identifiable source.

The Kehoe House operates as a boutique inn with daily breakfast. It is centrally located on Columbia Square within walking distance of Savannah's main historic sites. The building retains its Victorian character with period furnishings. Advance booking is recommended.
