EVP

Sounds captured on audio that some investigators interpret as voices or responses not heard at the time of recording.

EVP stands for Electronic Voice Phenomenon. Investigators usually record in quiet conditions, then review the audio later for unexplained speech-like sounds.

Strong practice treats every clip as a question, not a conclusion: note the environment, equipment, and possible ordinary sources (radio bleed, HVAC, footsteps, talking outside the room) before sharing a claim.
