Evidence & equipment

Full spectrum

Camera or lighting setups that capture light beyond ordinary visible wavelengths, such as near-infrared.

Full-spectrum cameras are modified to record infrared and/or ultraviolet light as well as visible light.

Unusual images can still have ordinary causes (dust, insects, lens flare, IR reflections). Context and comparison shots help.
