Trigger object

An item placed during an investigation in the hope it draws activity or becomes a focus for interaction.

Trigger objects might be toys, personal belongings, or historically relevant items left in a monitored space.

Photograph the setup before and after, and avoid touching the object mid-session if you want cleaner before/after comparisons.
