A visual appearance of a person or figure that witnesses believe should not be physically present.
Apparition reports range from fleeting shapes to detailed figures. Lighting, expectation, and peripheral vision all affect what people think they saw.
Write down duration, distance, clothing details, and whether anyone else saw the same thing before comparing stories.
