Hauntings & spirits
Intelligent haunting
A model where reported activity seems to respond to people, questions, or changes in the room.
Intelligent hauntings are contrasted with residual ones: knocks answering questions, objects moved after a request, or behaviours that track observers.
Response-like events still need careful controls. Coincidence, suggestion, and ordinary noise are common alternatives.
