Vortex
A claimed focal point of unusual energy or activity at a location; meanings vary widely by tradition.
Some tours and teams use “vortex” for spots where people feel dizziness, chills, or heightened emotion. The term is not a scientific measurement.
If a site is marketed as a vortex, separate folklore claims from what your own instruments and notes actually show.
